Rewalk of mechanical exoskeleton

Rewalk, which makes mechanical exoskeletons, is on the market: is it the next Tesla?

When Tesla first landed in the U.S. stock market, the market was full of doubts about a battery only car. They doubted whether Tesla could use only electric power without sacrificing appearance and performance. Tesla's cars are expensive and scarce, and the company runs largely on a great vision. However, Tesla's car is destined to represent the future, and the company's vision is being realized step by step. according to Morningstar.com Tesla's share price has risen 1073% since it went public on June 29, 2010, leaving skeptics confused.

While Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO, thinks the current share price is too high, Tesla's example illustrates how strong the market is for truly innovative and passionate leaders in a post jobs era. Recently, a company with real innovation has just held an IPO on NASDAQ.

Rewalk robotics, an Israeli exoskeleton system provider( Nasdaq:RWLK )It landed on NASDAQ last Friday, September 12. The company's share price has soared from $13.6 to $25.6 on its first day of listing, up 113%, making it a bright spot in the US stock market last week.

The wheelchair has never been standing up, but people's heart has never been paralyzed, or even suffering from despair. Rewalk robotics is a revolutionary change.

Rewalk, formerly Argo medical technologies, has a 3 million share offering and raised $36 million. The company is committed to manufacturing wearable exoskeleton powered devices to help people with paralysis below the waist regain their mobility. Rewalk was certified by the European Union in 2012 and entered the European market after years of clinical trials in Israel and the United States. In June, rewalk's exoskeleton product was approved by the U.S. drug and Food Administration (FDA), the only and first exoskeleton product to be approved by FDA. Rewalk technology uses a somatosensory chip to capture the body movements of patients and help them walk. The electric leg structure is composed of a motor driven by a battery at the joint, which can sense the change of the patient's center of gravity during walking, imitate the natural walking gait, and control the walking speed according to the actual situation. The patient can also complete the installation and disassembly by themselves.

Rewalk robotics has two products, rewalk personal and rewalk rehabilitation. The former is mainly suitable for use in family, work or social environment. Through sensors and monitors, patients can stand, walk and climb buildings. The latter is used for clinical repair, providing physical therapy for paralyzed patients, including relieving limb pain, muscle spasm, helping intestinal digestive system, accelerating bolism, etc. During August, more than 400 paralyzed patients practiced using rewalk products developed by Amit goffer, a quadriplegic. Gufei has been developing rewalk since 1997 and has been completed in ten years.

According to company documents, nearly 80% of 273000 paralyzed patients in the United States suffer from spinal cord injury. In addition, there are about 200000 patients with multiple sclerosis, but rewalk series products
